This book is a unique merger of two divergent parts. The first part is a presentation of the existing knowledge on the characteristics of basic air pollutants and their documented impact on human health. Synergic effects. Analysis of the known synergic effects of the exposure to the selected air pollutants. Socio-economic determinants and population health in the context of environmental risk exposure. Summary: documented facts, hypothesis, speculations and final conclusions.
