The first and second editions of Applied Mathematics and Modeling for Chemical Engineers have served a generation of chemical engineers well. The new edition revises and updates to bring new contemporary examples to bear on emerging technology in biochemical engineering and nanotechnology. Updates throughout the text along with two added chapters, one on Linear Algebra and the other on Applied Statistics, satisfies the need for more analysis on laboratory data and statistical quality control in the engineering curricula.
