This book gathers peer-reviewed research articles on recent advances concerning the geology, geophysics, tectonics, geochronology, sedimentology, igneous petrology, paleo-climate and paleo-oceanography of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands of India and the adjoining ocean basins. Accordingly, it contributes significantly to readers’ understanding of the origin and evolution of the Andaman subduction zone and its various components.
