Composition of the new book is an amalgamation of: Part A; power system theories, Part B; computation theories, and Part C; what and how to utilize prevailed engineering platforms for various engineering works. Most of the illustrations for the related contents of Part A are a derivation of the existing book Handbook of Power Systems Engineering 2nd ed. by Hase. However, the 28 chapters in the old book have been recompiled into 19 new chapters and have been improved, including some new topics. Further, two new chapters for circuit analysis have been added to help engineers with nonelectrical engineering backgrounds. The illustration of the related contents of Part B and Part C are mostly based on ETAP to explain the knowledge specifically as much as possible, however, engineers who utilize other similar tools are also included as potential readers.
