图书简介
Josh, a 30-year-old technology and new marketing genius, becomes disenchanted with his job and company and wonders if he is making a difference. His boss, who has noticed Joshs apathy and poor performance, gives him a mandatory two-week vacation to decide whether he wants to continue working for the company. That following weekend Josh goes to a Corn Maze farm with a group of friends. While trying to make his way through the maze, he encounters a farmer who suddenly appears and engages him in conversation about life and purpose. The farmer then hands Josh a seed and tells him that when he discovers the right place to plant the seed, his purpose will be revealed to him. Josh racks his brain trying to determine where he should plant the seed. After meeting a stranger who tells him that clues for our future can be found in our past, he decides to head home where his search begins. A bus trip then leads to a plane trip and a conversation with several teachers who share inspiration and lessons and try to help him figure out where to plant the seed. Ultimately he discovers that the seed needs to be planted where he is currently working, where hes been all along. He is there for a reason and must find his purpose at work and work for a bigger purpose. After discovering his lifes mission, Josh then launches an initiative, Innovate with Purpose, that not only transforms his company but becomes a movement around the world.
