In order to make the book useful for readers, it is organized into five main parts including 15 chapters classified by structures of the final product obtained through the chemical process. Special attention is given to synthetic applications in the fields of total synthesis or in the elaboration of biologically relevant targets. The last chapter is specifically devoted to highlight relevant recent industrial developments of MBFTs.
