This revised edition is appropriate for all in the health sciences and distinguishes itself from other books with the quality of the medical images, especially the striking number of rendered computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) images. However, the usefulness of the ultrasound images to nonexperts is debatable. The book would benefit from including orientation information with the images. In addition, there are still some typographical and figure labeling errors. This is most appropriate for use as a reference, as it is less comprehensive than other books incorporating Netter’s illustrations and radiographic images, i.e., Netter’s Introduction to Imaging, Cochard et al. (Elsevier, 2012).
