The Disruptors charts how architects are using technology-driven entrepreneurism to reshape new types of practice, advanced building typologies and innovative ways of engaging with the built environment. It will highlight the work, thoughts and innovations of architects working in disciplines from architecture and real estate to product design and software. Contributing authors will include architects who are developing practices beyond the traditional boundaries of the discipline, as well as other building industry practitioners, technologists and entrepreneurs that are pursuing work encompassing architectural concerns. The authors will be predominately practice-based, but will also include influential thought leaders in the discipline, who will provide a wider perspective on the changing economic and societal frameworks of technological disruption and the evolving context of the building industry and architectural practice.
