Increase the number of images, particularly full-colour clinical photographs and scans (a popular feature among students as they can then see examples of conditions they know they will encounter) ? Adding self-assessment via a companion website, which will also include the images to download and further reading/useful resources ? Agreeing a structure of subheadings for each chapter to clearly telegraph that all relevant content is included (as some reviewers requested addition of material that was actually already present but clearly not signposted enough) ? Generally, streamlining the content already present and, where appropriate, breaking up text into smaller chunks or conveying it via diagram/table This should greatly improve the title?s overall look and allow us to retain and build on our current market share.
