图书简介
This book aims to increase understanding of the reasoning processes that apply to geographic space and time. The essays were contributed by scholars from such disciplines as geography, cartography, surveying and engineering, computer science, mathematics, and environmental and cognitive psychology. The book is vidied into three parts. Section I looks at computational science perspectives on spatial and temporal reasoning in a GIS context. Section II treats spatial and temporal cognition, and Section III explores spatial and temporal behaviors in various social science frameworks.
